Financial Reporter revealed the winners of its sixth annual Women’s Recognition Awards last night, at a Winners’ Party which saw a fantastic turnout to celebrate the achievements of women in financial services.
The awards programme, now in its sixth year, aims to support the growing momentum for a more diverse and equal financial services community, recognising achievement in particular fields such as mortgages and specialist lending, alongside adviser-focused categories.
The WRAs also reward people and businesses in the industry who have made notable strides towards gender equality, either through raising awareness or by implementing specific changes within their workplace.
This year's WRAs also debuted four new categories to recognise the people and businesses who are tackling inequality in all forms in our industry, not just the gender imbalance.
These categories look more broadly at those working towards diversity, equity and inclusion within the mortgage industry and shine a light on those companies and people who are using their platform for change.
The Winners’ Party took place at Troxy in London, where hundreds of industry names joined forces to celebrate the winners and finalists.

Amy Loddington, Barcadia Media’s communications director, said:
"The main thing we wanted to emphasise in the #WRA23 campaign was a sense of collective responsibility for making our industry better - and the awards evening this year was a perfect representation of people from across the industry coming together to celebrate the achievements of women and businesses in mortgages."
"A huge thank you to our sponsors and our judges, for making these awards possible, and congratulations to every single winner and finalist - we had so many entries that every single spot very well-deserved."
