"They can now provide intermediaries access to our entire range of West One lending products including bridging, development finance, buy-to-let and second charge mortgages."

Specialist Hub now has semi-exclusive access and packager status at West One for regulated first charge mortgages.

Specialist Hub’s lending portfolio includes commercial and semi-commercial, regulated and unregulated bridging, specialist buy-to-let, and residential first and second charge mortgages. The company has nearly 40 years of experience in the specialist finance market, providing specialist financial products for mortgage brokers, IFAs, and other industry professionals.

West One launched its first ever range of residential mortgage products last month through a limited panel of specialist distributors. The range is open to first-time buyers, home movers and remortgage clients, as well as borrowers with unencumbered properties.

Remortgage clients can capital raise up to 85% LTV for most legal purposes, and could also benefit from West One’s fast track remortgage service provided by its in house legal team. AVMs are also available for certain loan sizes.

West One can also consider LTIs above 4.5 times income via its prime plus and prime product range for home movers, and remortgage clients who have a minimum household income of £50,000.

Managing director at Specialist Hub, Tony Sutton, said: “We are thrilled to now have packager status for West One’s regulated first charge products, as well as semi-exclusive access to these. This product range meets the needs of clients underserved by the high street. It will also assist those who would benefit from a more bespoke approach to underwriting, including those with a less than optimum credit score or who may have some adverse credit.”

Marie Grundy, managing director for residential mortgages and second charges at West One, commented: “We are delighted to be offering our range of residential mortgage products through the highly experienced team at Specialist Hub. They can now provide intermediaries access to our entire range of West One lending products including bridging, development finance, buy-to-let and second charge mortgages.

"Their expertise in the specialist lending market will enable more borrowers to access the most suitable product to meet their circumstances at a time when borrowers can really benefit from a more holistic advice service to identify the right product to meet their needs.”
