Legal & General Retail has appointed Vikki Jefferies as market development director.
The appointment follows the retirement of Jeff Woods, L&G's head of intermediary development.
Jefferies joins Legal & General from LSL Financial Services, where she was a member of the executive team and responsible for the Primis proposition and relationship management across mortgage, protection, and general insurance product lines.
She has over 25 years of experience, having previously worked at Endsleigh Insurance contributing in a variety of roles from sales management, business development and product design.
As market development director, Jefferies will lead the L&G Retail strategy to grow its presence in the intermediary market, working closely with partners, distributors, and advisers. She will also focus on proposition developments including the high value, business protection, and core distribution propositions.
