"We have made good progress in building our balance sheet since we obtained our full banking licence in February and would expect to break the £100m barrier by the year end."

New bridging and development finance lender, StreamBank, has appointed Roz Cawood as managing director of property finance.

Roz has a 25-year career in specialist finance sales, working with lenders including Precise Mortgages, LendInvest, Masthaven and, most recently, Hope Capital where she was director of sales.

The senior appointment comes as StreamBank continues to build and grow its lending business following approval and receipt of its Banking licence earlier this year.

Born out of the bridging loan business conducted by ActivTrades, StreamBank will provide a range of short to medium term funding solutions initially in bridging and development finance, together with commercial mortgages.

StreamBank, which announced its launch in July 2022, will provide property finance solutions between £250,000 and £5 million, to support property developers, small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, and house builders.

Steve Pateman, chief executive at StreamBank commented: “I am delighted that Roz has decided to join StreamBank to lead our property finance teams – she has extensive and relevant experience as we seek to position StreamBank as a provider of innovative solutions to customers looking for bridging, development and other forms of property finance. We have made good progress in building our balance sheet since we obtained our full banking licence in February and would expect to break the £100m barrier by the year end.

Roz added: “I am delighted to be joining StreamBank and look forward to growing its profile and building its reputation in the specialist property finance market.

“After speaking to Steve and the team, I am filled with confidence that we will become the go to lender in the bridging and development market as we build a proposition that exceed the expectations of brokers and clients.”
