"In a complex market, we will work more closely than ever with others to solve bigger pain points and ultimately grow value for everyone in the sector."
ONP Group has rebranded as Movera. The group of home moving businesses includes ONP Solicitors, Cavendish Legal Group, Grindeys Conveyancing, LMS, Conveyancing Alliance, Broker Conveyancing, and Lavatech, creator of inCase.
Each company will continue to operate independently but will be supported by Movera and its platform.
The name-change supports Movera's aim to improve conveyancing and housing transactions, shortening time to completion and improving the experience for everyone involved.
Movera is working with the Land Registry as one of four conveyancing firms to pilot automating the submission of applications to the Land Registry.
The Group’s training and development courses for conveyancers will now be managed under the Movera Academy. The courses aim to upskill existing conveyancers and bring the next wave of talent into the industry, with a mixture of online, in-person, mentoring and on-the-job coaching.
Movera CEO, Nick Hale, said: “With our ethos of focusing on brilliant people, innovative technology and having an explorer mindset, we aim to make home moving a more positive experience. Our ambition is to create experiences which can be celebrated not just tolerated. With the launch of Movera, we commit to work with our partners ever more closely and welcome the industry joining with us to help make that happen.
“We continually look to explore new opportunities and want to take everyone with us. We know we don’t have all the answers, so we want to work with the people around us to lift the industry for the better - for clients, for partners and for our people who help make all of this happen. In a complex market, we will work more closely than ever with others to solve bigger pain points and ultimately grow value for everyone in the sector.
“Most importantly we want to improve things for home owners. We believe that buying a home, or even remortgaging, is all about experience, not just about a transaction. It needs to be enabled by people who feel good about what they do.”
