NatWest increases low-LTV mortgage rates by up to 0.17%

Other higher-LTV mortgage rates have decreased by up to 0.10%.

NatWest has announced a series of rate changes across its residential purchase, remortgage and first-time buyer products.

As part of the changes, selected rates have increased by up to 0.17%, while others in the range are down by up to 0.10%.

In its two-year fixed rate purchase range, 60% LTV rates have increased by up to 14bps, now starting from 4.33% with a £1,495 fee, 4.38% with a £995 fee, and 4.63% fee-free.

75% LTV two-year fixes have increased by up to 7bps, with the lowest rate now at 4.50%. Elsewhere, 80% LTV rates have decreased by 5bps, 85% LTV rates are down by up to 9bps, and 90% LTV rates by up to 10bps.

In NatWest's two-year remortgage range, 60% LTV rates have increased by 10bps, with the lowest rate on offer now 4.44%. 75% LTV rates have risen by 11bps, starting from 4.60%, 80% LTV rates have increased by up to 10bps to start from 5.07%, and 85% LTV rates are up by 5bps.

Five-year fixed rate purchase products have increased by up to 16bps at 60% LTV, with the lowest rate at 4.23%. 75% LTV rates are also up to 16bps higher, now starting from 4.34%.

Higher-LTV five-year fixes, between 80-90%, have decreased by up to 10bps. 

Five-year remortgage rates have increased by 16-17bps at 60% LTV, with the lowest rate now at 4.24%. 75% LTV rates have risen by up to 15bps, now starting from 4.39%, while 80% and 85% LTV have increased by up to 6bps.

As part of the changes, selected two and five-year fixed rate first-time buyer products have decreased by up to 0.10% at 85% and 90% LTV.

Elsewhere, selected shared equity products, including Help to Buy, have increased by up to 0.17% and green mortgage rates have risen by up to 0.16%.
