SortRefer says the price encompasses all fees required for a straight-forward freehold remortgage in England and Wales.
SortRefer's fixed price remortgage products have traditionally included a BACS payment as part of the package. However, given recent feedback from their intermediary customers, the firm has created a product that includes a telegraphic transfer fee, to react to the fact that many lenders require this method of payment for the redemption of the existing mortgage.
Available now on the SortRefer portal, intermediary customers must be registered to quote and instruct the product.
