GWeat Escape will offer brokers £150 cash back when instructing Goldsmith Williams on the Woolwich’s Great Escape remortgage product.
Goldsmith Williams pioneered the use of lenders cash backs to pay for clients to choose their own solicitors and is now extending the cash back to brokers under the Woolwich Scheme, along with a seven-day remortgage guarantee.
Simon Miller, head of remortgage at Goldsmith Williams, said:
“We have established long and loyal relationships with numerous mortgage brokers and we speak to more than 500 every week. Our cash back alternative to lenders free fee cases was launched in response to brokers’ concerns over the service provided by lenders’ solicitors.
“Our approach has always been to act in the interests of the borrower, broker and lender, as we need all aspects of the transaction to run as smoothly as possible. Other lenders can follow the Woolwich example by offering cashback schemes and giving borrowers real choice.”
