LendInvest appoints four new field BDMs

The lender says the new hires will bolster its market presence nationally.

LendInvest Mortgages has appointed four new field business development managers - Lois Ashcroft, Ed Appleby, Rod McPherson, and James Hamblin.

Lois Ashcroft will cover the South West and South Wales. She joins from Pepper Money UK, where she served as the regional development manager for the South West. She has over five years of experience in business development and mortgage advisory roles, previously working at Principality Building Society as a mortgage underwriter and customer consultant.

Ed Appleby has joined to oversee the North East and Yorkshire. Ed comes to LendInvest from Penrith Building Society, where he held the position of head of products and distribution. His career includes roles such as head of intermediary and business development manager, bringing a proficiency in product development, distribution, and market growth strategies to the business.

Rod McPherson will cover Scotland. He brings a wealth of experience from his role as regional BDM at Atom Bank, where he spent over seven years developing relationships with mortgage intermediaries. His prior experience includes positions at First Mortgage and Halifax.

James Hamblin is responsible for the South East. James has an extensive background in business development, most recently with KSEYE. His career includes tenures at Step One Finance, Enterprise Finance and NatWest, where he managed large portfolios and developed key broker relationships.
