West One Loans has expanded its residential and buy-to-let distribution network through a new partnership with London & Country Mortgages.

L&C brokers now have access to West One’s full range of specialist residential and buy-to-let mortgage products.

West One's range is aimed at borrowers unable to obtain a high street mortgage with a specific focus on solutions for those with more complex circumstances. The lender announced a series of enhancements to its product range and eligibility criteria in July.

Paul Huxter, head of intermediary sales and distribution at West One Loans, said: “This is a highly significant announcement for us in terms of scale. We have earmarked this as a growth year for West One and announcements such as this show that we are making great strides toward that goal. We have built an enviable product range and brought that offering to a greater number of brokers and borrowers this year.

“Now we are working with one of the UK’s leading brokers to help us serve even more people at a time when the mortgage market needs more flexibility and well-designed options. We can’t wait to get started serving borrowers advised by London & Country.”

Simon Hendy, chief relationship officer at L&C, added: “We’re delighted to further boost the range of options available to our advisers through our partnership with West One. L&C is committed to finding the very best solutions for its customers from right across the market and we’re confident that West One will help us achieve that by meeting the complex needs of our customers.”
