"Our new portal is designed to make it much easier for Just Mortgages’ brokers to not only refer clients requiring financial advice, but to maintain a clear line of sight throughout the entire process."

Just Wealth, the financial services arm of national brokerage Just Mortgages, has launched a new referral portal to support mortgage advisers when introducing potential wealth clients.

The Just Refer portal streamlines the wealth referral process and ensures Just Mortgages’ brokers remain informed at all stages and in real time. It replaces the existing manual email tracker system to alert mortgage brokers at each relevant touch point within the referral and advice journey, enabling them to better track customer outcomes.

In 2022, the national brokerage referred 1,200 cases to the Just Wealth division to help clients in a range of product areas including pensions and investment advice, inheritance tax, life assurance and other protection products.

Once fully implemented, the next stage of Just Refer will see the inclusion of additional services such as equity release, business protection and commercial mortgage cases.

Dave Magee, head of wealth at Just Wealth, said: “Our new portal is designed to make it much easier for Just Mortgages’ brokers to not only refer clients requiring financial advice, but to maintain a clear line of sight throughout the entire process. In addition to building stronger relationships between brokers and financial advisers, the portal will help deliver greater intelligence for all parties, improve the quality of leads and provide a much slicker journey for the customer.

“Rather than client referrals disappearing into a ‘black hole’ or referring externally, brokers can refer to a colleague within the group and keep track of the progress. This strengthens the bridge between our two firms, helping mortgage advisers to increase their value to their clients and their bottom line.”
