"This rebrand strengthens our identity and ensures H&R for Intermediaries continues to remain relevant in what is a rapidly evolving lending landscape."

Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries has unveiled new branding.

The brand refresh includes a new logo and colour palette, which includes the separate identity specifically for H&R’s key intermediary team.

Earlier this month, Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries updated the criteria on its Credit Flex mortgage product, which is designed to meet the needs of a range of borrowers with an adverse credit history. This includes borrowers with CCJs, debt management plans, IVAs, payday loans as well as those who have missed payments on utility bills, credit cards, mortgages or secured loans.

The new criteria simplifies underwriting requirements, and in many cases extends criteria to cover a wider range of borrowers.

The Society also won the Best Green Lender award at this year's Financial Reporter Awards.

Danny Cranie, chief customer officer at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society, said: “We are refreshing our brand to embrace a more modern aesthetic, which realigns our image with our evolving purpose as a mutual organisation, and our ambition to be a leading lender in the specialist mortgage market.

“At H&R we listen to our brokers to ensure we find the right mortgage solution to meet their clients’ needs. This rebrand strengthens our identity and ensures H&R for Intermediaries continues to remain relevant in what is a rapidly evolving lending landscape.”
