Funding 365 – recommended to the AOBP by several of its Executive Committee members – is a London-based finance provider. Launched in May 2013, the experienced team behind the lender has built up a highly diversified portfolio of first and second charge, three to 12-month loans secured against residential buy-to-let, commercial and development properties across England and Wales.
Michael Strange, Director of Funding 365, said:
"We are exceptionally pleased and proud to become a member of the AOBP. At this exciting time in our development we believe that this membership will allow us to forge new partnerships, provide new opportunities and will give us a platform to work with our industry colleagues and competitors to further the growth of this dynamic market.”
Malcolm Scanlon, AOBP Executive Committee member and Head of Lending at Niche Financial Services, commented:
“It is pleasure to welcome Funding 365 to the AOBP. It was clear in my first meeting with them a few months ago that they have a desire to increase their levels of funding. Becoming a member of the AOBP will enable them to develop new relationships within a hugely competitive market place.”
This latest lender addition brings the AOBP Associate Lender total to 23 and which is representative of a cross-section of specialist finance providers active in the market today. Challenger banks, short-term lenders and development finance providers make up the varied membership.
Led by Michael Strange, Jeff Stolz and Mike Jinn, Funding 365 also recruited Brian West as Head of Broker Sales, formerly a BDM at Shawbrook Bank.
The Association’s Vice Chairman and Director of Only Bridging, Simon Juniper, who has completed a deal with the firm, said:
“I’ve known Brian West for a number of years and have always found him to be a professional, ethical colleague. We have found that Funding 365 do indeed do things differently to other lenders which makes a refreshing change.
“We are in an industry where new lenders seem to be appearing everywhere, but I doubt none are more professional than the guys at Funding 365.”
AOBP Chairman Rob Jupp of Brightstar Financial commented:
“The AOBP has seen a fantastic first quarter in 2014 and is delighted to welcome yet another reputable, ambitious and successful lender to join its ranks. We are looking forward to having Funding 365 contribute to the Association’s continued growth.”
