"With new guest speakers and content, we’re confident that brokers will come away from the sessions with a strong understanding of how to better help their landlord clients."

Financial Reporter has launched a new four-part Masterclass series covering all things buy-to-let, in partnership with CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries.

Following the success of the previous Masterclass series in June, Financial Reporter is giving intermediaries another chance to hone their knowledge in the buy-to-let market and support landlords in the dynamic realm of property investment.

The previous sessions were led by industry expert Roger Morris, who has since joined Chetwood Financial as group distribution director. Chetwood, which acquired CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries earlier this year, will utilise its valuable expertise in the sector to bring the new Masterclasses to brokers.

The new Masterclasses will feature brand new content, guest speakers, and provide an even more comprehensive offering to intermediaries.

Hosted over four weeks from 27th September to 18th October, the sessions will explore everything a broker needs to know about buy-to-let from regulation to how to engage landlords and complex tax structures – with sessions covering the changing landscape of buy-to-let, structures of ownership, houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), and understanding bridging, holiday lets, let-to-buy and strategies for better landlord engagement.

Brokers can sign up for the events, which are free-to-attend and carry CPD hours, here.

Rozi Jones, editor of Financial Reporter, commented: "Following positive intermediary feedback from our first Masterclass series, we're pleased to run this new series of sessions which will offer a valuable resource for brokers wanting to learn more about the buy-to-let market.

“The sessions aim to cover an even wide range of information relating to buy-to-let and with new guest speakers and content, we’re confident that brokers will come away from the sessions with a strong understanding of how to better help their landlord clients.”
