"In addition to saving time, brokers have peace of mind they’re facilitating more efficient borrowing by minimising deposits and costs"

Brickflow, the digital marketplace for property development finance, has become a professional partner of the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA), enabling its members to search and apply for property development finance.

By using Brickflow’s software, FIBA members can search over 40 development finance lenders, apply online and receive a Decision in Principle (DIP) within hours.

Research can be saved to file, and the platform fact find doubles as the DIP form that all lenders accept. Only brokers can submit loan applications, and there’s a white-label option so users can badge the software as their own to clients.

Access to the software is £35 per user per month or £350 per year. Brokers receive 100% commission on every deal.

Brickflow is running a special offer for FIBA members - yearly access for £280 until the 31st March. The discount code is on the Brickflow page in the member benefits area of the FIBA portal.

Brickflow co-founder, Ian Humphreys, commented: “FIBA is a natural fit for us because our aims are the same; to help intermediaries grow their businesses.

“The market has been crying out for a proptech solution to the age-old lack of transparency problem in the development finance market, and the Association is a great way to share it. It’s not sustainable to waste weeks wading through a borrower’s paperwork and calling around lenders trying to place a case, plus probably more weeks to receive indicative terms. Brokers need the tools to serve their clients better.

“In addition to saving time, brokers have peace of mind they’re facilitating more efficient borrowing by minimising deposits and costs, potentially saving clients tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds, which can be ploughed into property development projects.”

FIBA’s executive chairman, Adam Tyler, added: “We are particularly pleased to add Brickflow to our Professional Partner Panel and their service to our Member Benefits support, as I am well aware of the need for this type of service in the development sector.

“Not only does the system save an inordinate amount of time in sourcing the funding required, and then in the application for a project in play, but the fact also that it cuts completion down from six months to a potential six weeks is quite literally game-changing.

“Another aspect of great value is the ability for the Brickflow platform to support broker conversations with their developer clients, allowing for modelling of proposed projects before committing to a funding stage, by running a model through the system to establish whether the next development is financially viable.”
