DF Capital, a specialist bank providing working capital solutions to businesses across the UK, has announced the launch of structured finance, designed to help businesses improve their cash flow and access the funding they need, backed by a dedicated team.

Structured finance provides a variety of tailored solutions to meet customers’ working capital needs, as well as financing opportunities such as mergers and acquisitions, business restructures and asset purchases.

Structured finance includes wholesale finance, stock flow finance, invoice finance and secured short-term business loans, and is complementary to DF Capital’s existing inventory finance range.

DF Capital’s structured finance team has already been helping existing and new customers secure funding to buy additional stock, purchase business assets and improve their working capital.

The Manchester-based structured finance team is led by Sarah Barker as managing director of structured finance. Sarah joined DF Capital in 2018, having spent the last two years as head of portfolio monitoring and specialist management at the bank.

Sarah Barker commented: “The formal launch of our structured finance offering is an exciting milestone for DF Capital, representing a fantastic step forward in our mission to be the go-to specialist funding partner for businesses across the UK.

“Complementing our core inventory finance offering, structured finance reflects our focus on finding new and innovative ways to support businesses and we are committed to working with our customers to quickly and efficiently support them in unlocking new funding opportunities to achieve their ambitions.

“We now have a dedicated team in place to deliver this offering and, given our early successes to date, we look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with existing customers as well as helping new customers to achieve their goals."
