Craig Calder has joined TSB as its secured lending director.

Craig brings two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, most recently as head of secured lending at Virgin Money. Prior to this, he was director of mortgage products at Barclays for almost ten years.

At TSB, Craig will be responsible for the design and delivery of mortgages, general insurance, and mortgage distribution.

Craig’s appointment follows products director, Ian Ramsden, retiring from the business and mortgage distribution director, Roland McCormack, leaving to pursue new opportunities – both of whom have been with TSB for over a decade each.

Beverley Bradford, current head of mortgage intermediaries, will move into an expanded role as head of mortgage distribution, where she will run key national accounts, as well as continuing to oversee the current distribution team.

Customer banking director, Adam Lishman, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Craig to TSB and are confident that his excellent industry experience will further strengthen TSB’s focus on growing our support for customers.”

In a statement on LinkedIn, Roland McCormack said: "After 11 wonderful years at TSB building and leading the mortgage distribution business, I leave at the end of March. Very proud of what the teams have achieved across both Intermediary and Direct. I will take a break ahead of my wedding on 17th of May and then explore next stage of my career. A big thank you to all the brokers who have supported the team and I since our 2015 launch."
