Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has announced the promotion of Kate Marlow to head of surveyor development.
Kate brings a wealth of experience to this newly created role, having built a distinguished career in the surveying profession. She joined CSS in 2004 and has since held a number of key roles across the business, including chartered surveyor, managing surveyor, regional operations manager, and regional director before stepping into her new role.
With a focus on both professional and personal development, Kate will provide dedicated support to new and existing surveyors, ensuring they have every opportunity to enhance their skills and progress their careers. Her responsibilities will include co-ordinating the aftercare programme for newly qualified surveyors, development programmes for existing surveyors, training days, conferences, and the Valuer Forum.
She will also play a key role in wellbeing initiatives, including support networks for women in surveying, new parents, diversity and inclusion, and the menopause. working closely with regional management teams to provide one-to-one guidance.
