Clydesdale increases £1m+ and professional mortgage rates

Clydesdale has announced a series of rate increases across its mortgage product ranges.

£1m+ two and five-year fixed rates will be increased by up to 0.25% and selected professional and newly qualified professional rates will be increased by up to 0.26%.

The Bank has also announced smaller increases across its core two and five-year fixed rates.

Rates have risen by up to 0.09% at 75% LTV, up to 0.07% at 80% LTV, 0.04% at 85% LTV and 0.05% at 90% LTV.

A buy-to-let two-year fixed rate has increased to 1.89% at 60% LTV and discounted offset rates have risen by 0.25%, in-line with the increase to OVR, now at 4.95%.

Clydesdale recently reduced the minimum income required for newly qualified professionals from £40,000 to £30,000.
