Coventry Building Society has announced that Andrea Melville will join Coventry Building Society Group as chief executive of The Co-operative Bank and Group chief commercial officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Coventry completed its acquisition of Co-op Bank earlier this month.
Andrea is currently Head of Everyday Banking, Business Banking and CEO of Cater Allen at Santander UK.
She will join Coventry Building Society Group in June 2025, leading The Co-operative Bank’s executive team and joining the Society’s Group CEO, Steve Hughes, with responsibility for the Group’s trading performance and integration plans.
