Access FS launches referral scheme for mortgage and protection brokers

Access Financial Services is introducing an internal referral initiative, dubbed “Access All Areas”.

The mortgage and protection brokerage has rolled out the scheme to its 260-strong network of self-employed mortgage and protection advisers, enabling them to collaborate by passing on leads to their colleagues when they encounter financial opportunities outside their immediate expertise.

The programme allows advisers to maximise their potential and better serve their clients by leveraging the collective knowledge and skills within the wider Access FS community.

The rollout of the Access All Areas initiative began with a pilot phase in early February, supported by a series of educational webinars. These sessions aimed to broaden advisers' understanding of various financial products, including those they might not typically handle in their day-to-day operations.

During the pilot, 50 leads successfully transferred among advisers including wills, mortgages, protection cases, later life lending, second charges, bridging finance, commercial deals, and international mortgages.
