Masthaven expands mortgage team with three new recruits

Masthaven has appointed John Smith as National Account Manager for First Charge Mortgages, as well as David Owen and Wes Baker as Business Development Managers.

John Smith began his career in the mortgage market at 16. After underwriting at Alliance & Leicester, he moved into a sales role at Platform Home Loans before joining Aldermore as a regional account manager. He also helped launch Bluestone mortgages into the specialist mortgage market.

Wes Baker began his career at Welcome Finance nad later Evolution Money, starting in sales as an underwriter, progressing to become Business Development Manager. At Masthaven Bank he will be covering the North of England, focusing on both the first and second charge arena.
 
David Owen started out at NatWest as a cashier, working his way up to become a mortgage adviser. After seven years he moved to Leeds Building Society where his roles included Branch Manager and Area Manager. For the past two years he has been working in the specialist lending sector as a BDM at Together. At Masthaven he will be covering the West Midlands and South West of England covering first and second charge mortgages.
